Our First

We had our very first litter born. Candy Delivered early morning on Thanksgiving. Unfortunately she had not pulled fur before hand and the babies were cold as ice, i did my best but all 6 kits did not make it which saddens our hearts but we learn, yet the next day she had pulled fur. we were and are excited to have been right that she was indeed pregnant. How ever we did learn some things for next time, we will make sure to bring the doe to the main house inside the week she is due, and we have gotten an animal heating pad to help warm the kits. only thing we are working out is how to keep the dogs away from them in the house. Yes we did put candy back with Colt right away to help her with hormones, so now we will have 3 does due in the same week. Luna and Ash were breed and she is due around the 16th, Portia is due around the 22nd ( she did go over 2 days with last litter) and now Again Candy would be due around the 25th, so expect many kits for Christmas.
